Coque is a Michelin star Madrid restaurant whose menu fuses typical Spanish and Madrid style cuisine with modern and innovative touches.

Run by the Sandoval family, Coque is a gem of a restaurant and its various culinary awards are well deserved.

The restaurant itself is an elegant yet modern setting with neutral colours and is bright and spacious yet intimate with a capacity for up to just 35 diners.

The menu, created by head chef Mario Sandoval, combines exciting flavours and aromas with traditional Spanish ingredients.

The food is original and creative and the quality first class with dishes such as Belon oyster on a bed of seaweed with passion fruit and pomegranate, sea bass with orange marmalade and spinach ravioli or loin of venison with juniper berries, bergamot skin and toasted cashew nuts finished off with desserts like raspberry crunch with cream cheese and goats milk ice cream.

The wine cellar is incredible and ultra modern where the wine list is viewed on a digital screen. There are over 700 varieties of wine on offer from the world over and Sommelier Rafael Sandoval is on hand to assist you in your selection.

Although Coque is based on the outskirts of Madrid, it is well worth the visit for its incredible award winning menu.
